This was a project that required careful preparation and excellent coordination from the Au Co tug and pusher team. To bring the GALILEAN 7 into Dung Quat plant, the company’s fleet used a large fleet of tugs and support vessels: a tug at the bow, a pusher at the stern, and 6 support vessels on both sides of the ship. The move into the Dung Quat plant area was carried out safely and efficiently thanks to the close coordination and tireless work of the entire fleet.

Here, GALILEAN 7 will undergo a 6-month repair process. This process includes thousands of work items, the most prominent of which is the installation of a helicopter landing pad, a fuel pipeline system on the deck, and a 22-ton fuel receiving and supplying station, helping to improve operational efficiency and ensure the safety of the ship during its journeys.
Bringing the TTO – GALILEAN 7 to Dung Quat is not only a testament to the expertise and creativity in solving complex situations, but also demonstrates the growth of the shipbuilding industry in Vietnam. The Au Co fleet has proven that, with the right investment and a spirit of cooperation, domestic companies can completely carry out projects of international stature.
